Alfredo De Lara CardonaAlfredo De Lara Cardona went home to be with the Lord on November 29th, 2020 in Reedley, California at the age of 64. His wife, Elva Cardona of Reedley, survives Alfredo. Daughters, Irene Davis (Bill Davis) and Myrna Mosqueda (Antonio Mosqueda) and son Alfredo Cardona also survive him. Alfredo was the proud grandfather of Jacob Del Cid, Caleb Cardona, Ben Davis, Jesse Banda, Zach Davis, Jordan Mosqueda, Nathan Mosqueda, Drew Davis, Noah Cardona, Emma Cardona and Alexa Cardona. Alfredo was born on February 2, 1956 in Jerez, Zacatecas Mexicoto Reyes Cardona and Maria De Jesus De Lara. He moved to the United States in 1970. He married Elva, in 1971. After moving to Reedley, Alfredo began working for Ranchers Cotton Oil as a Maintenance Electrician. After 11 year at Ranchers, Alfredo became a Truck Driver and spent 20 years hauling in-state loads. He attended seminary at Fresno Pacific College, went on to Co-Pastor the El Faro Church in Reedley, and was the Lead Pastor of the Selma Mennonite Brethren Church for five years. A viewing is scheduled for December 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dopkins Funeral Home in Reedley. There will be a graveside service for family at the Reedley Cemetery on December 18th at 1:00 PM. Only 15 people are allowed at the service. Additional visitors must remain in their cars.
