He also pursued in getting his license in becoming a Broker, in which he accomplished. He also had accomplished his dream goal of becoming a writer, which he had a passion for, his books are based on his life as being in the Law Enforcement and wrote another book about his family history called the “The City KNIGHTS and “The City KNIGHTS II.” Cruz was born of parents Cruz Balderas Sr. and Maria Balderas on May 13th, 1960 in Reedley, CA. Cruz was a hero to many that were surrounded by him, and now he is being a hero for Jesus in heaven. He is forever in our hearts and will always will be remembered as our “Cruzy”, “Daddy”, and “Tata.” Gone for now, but until we meet again. We love you Cruzy! 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 .Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. John 16:22 Verily, Verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall turn into joy. Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I'm going to miss you Daddy! I will miss our long conversations and jokes we used to tell each other. I will miss us just talking about life and you mu biggest motivator and best friend. I feel that that our relationship as a Father and Daughter was one of a kind and it was so special. I dont know how im going to do this without you Dad, but I know our Good Father in heaven is watching over me now, so don't worry Iam going to keep going and never give up, because one lesson you taught me since I was a little girl is never to give up. You would say " Remeber only a good challenge is worth conquering!" I will never forget your speeches and lectures Daddy. I will always remeber you and I will miss you so much! Especially the song you would sing to me every time I will call you. "SARINA, SARINA ALI! FLUTTERS LIKE A BUTTERFLY STINGS LIKE A BEE!" I love you my Daddy have fun in heaven with Jesus!:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: From your Daughter Curly Cue Sara Marie Balderas. Love you Daddy!

Cruz and I went to the police academy together in 1990. He was working with me through some of the most difficult times in my career. I always considered him my friend. I lost contact with him after we both moved out of Dinuba and left the PD. I always will consider him a friend and offer my condolences to Olivia and his family. I will miss him.
