Dora Pauline Morrelli

September 1, 1921 — April 27, 2022

On April 27, 2022, Dora Pauline Morrelli heard, “Well done, good and faithful servant. For 100 years, you were faithful over what you were given. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” Born in Orosi, California on September 1, 1921, to Cecil and Beulah Carey, Pauline spent her entire life in the Central Valley, living in Orosi for 80 years before moving to Palm Village Retirement Community in Reedley, California in 2002. There, she spent two decades being cared for and loved by the staff.

Pauline spent her life in service to others. She worked for nearly 20 years as a school cook and cafeteria manager in the Cutler-Orosi Unified School District. She was an incredible wife of 52 years to Arthur Morrelli, and mother to three children, James, Suzanne, and Patty. Pauline could be found every Sunday in the pews of Orosi First Baptist Church. Her love of Jesus framed her century on this earth. The Holy Bible directed her path. She was a faithful prayer warrior, spending hours a day, praying for her husband, children, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Beulah, siblings, Cecil and Virginia, husband, Arthur, son, James, grandson, Andrew, and granddaughter-in-law, Laura. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne (Dan) and Patty (James), grandchildren Brian (Cassandra), Keri, Shelley, Ryan (Laura), and Sarah (Andrew), great-grandchildren, Emma, Christopher, Margaret, Kyla, Zachary, Silas, and Asher, and many family members and friends.

Pauline loved her family. She supported Arthur many Friday nights in the fall on football fields as an official. She traveled with her family on many family vacations. She spent hours in front of her sewing machine, mending, creating, and teaching her skills to others. She will be loved forever by those who love her.

The family wants to thank Palm Village Retirement Community for their care and Hinds Hospice who stood with Pauline at the end of her life. Memorials may be sent to the Palm Village Legacy Fund in Reedley, California. www.palmvillage.com
