Dorothy went to her heavenly home on March 25,2022. She was born on September 15, 1927 to Albert and Augusta Ernst in San Jose, California. Having lived in San Jose, Fresno, Clovis, Orange Cove and Reedley, she is survived by sons Tim Halemeier (Karin), David Halemeier (Carolyn); her grandchildren Michelle McGrath (Kenny), Kristin Falzone (Chad), Jeffrey Halemeier (Kathy), Elisabeth Miller (Aubrey), Joshua Halemeier (Kelsey), Heidi Halemeier and Janette (JJ) Halemeier; and her great grandchildren Hailey, Katelyn and Brooklyn Falzone (Kristin), Carter and Caden Halemeier (Heidi), Henry McGrath (Michelle), and Juniper Miller (Elisa). Dorothy will always be remembered by the respectful, quiet integrity and caring nature she possessed. Her love for Jesus, her family and all those she encountered were central to her life. Strength in adversity and compassion for others allowed her to pray and befriend all she met. Grounded in faith her servant-nature touched many and her prayers were felt by all up to the end. Quilting, baking, cooking, and family were her favorite pastimes. Always having a beautiful bright smile on her face and her strength in the Lord for ninety-four years will be solely missed by all who knew her.
