Helen Marquez Gomez

It is with heavy hearts that the husband and children of Helen Marquez Gomez announce her passing on July 16, 2021. Helen was born on September 9, 1939 in Dinuba, California to parents of Adrian and Mary Marquez. Helen attended Orosi High School. She was involved in band and clubs on campus. On May 5, 1960, Helen married Frank Gomez in Monterey, Ca. Frank and Helen made their home in Dinuba, Ca. Besides raising two sons, she made time to serve one year as Tulare Grand Jury and enjoyed every minute of it. Helen had a heart and passion for ministry. One of her first missionary trips was a trip to China. Helen had a heart for the people of Israel and made three trips there. In the early 2000’s, Helen started to devout most of her time to ministry and to spread the word of God. She traveled to several states in Mexico and to Colombia spreading the word. Helen is survived by her husband Frank, her children Adrian and Marc as well as six grandchildren, sister Roseann, brothers Albert and Robert, and nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, Ca 93618.

Our beautiful friend has gone to a beautiful place to be with the lord. She had a heart of gold always very sweet to everyone, prayed for the ones that need prayer. I have good memories of her and husband Frank. Good friends may God Bless her family in times of need and give them the peace at a time of this loss of a beautiful wife and mother.and a friends to all. You will be miss Helen, but I know you are in a beautiful place with God.
