Jose was preceded in death by his wife, Josefina Palleres and children, Maribel Pallares and Hector Pallares.

Jose is survived by his children, Maria & Jose Luis Villalobos, Sylvia Pallares, Marisela & Adrian Palafox, Veronica & Gilbert Garcia, Antonio & Lina Pallares, Linda Rosa Pallares, Marta Elena & Gustavo Ledesma; 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
