Luther Lee Hoffman

Luther Lee Hoffman was born November 2, 1933, to George & Elaine Hoffman in Pleasant Hope, Missouri. He was the oldest of 3 children, having 2 sisters, Janet (McGlashan) and Gwendy. When he was about 4 years old, his family moved to California. Luther attended Wahtoke Elementary School and Reedley High School.  

Luther worked for D’Arrigo Bros Ranch as an Equipment Foreman for 10 years, followed by the Reedley sawmill and then became a Deliveryman for Grower’s Supply and Greenbelt & retired as a Product Transporter from Simplot in1998.

He was a long-time member of First Southern Baptist Church, Reedley.

Luther was preceded in death by his parents, George & Elaine Hoffman, sister Gwendy Hoffman and son Chris Hoffman. He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter Alison Haynes and son-in-law Steve, sister and brother-in-law Janet and Jack McGlashan, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Duane and Mary Deaver, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements entrusted to Dopkins Funeral Home. Service to be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11am at First Southern Baptist Church, Reedley.
