Mary Ruth James

Mary Ruth James was born November 24, 1955 in Utica, New York to Joseph Mackool James and Lila James (Abraham).

Mary was known to be a good writer growing up and has been devoted to our Lord and Savior at an early age. She had been going to Catholic school with a love for learning and stepped in to help whenever she could. She had received extensive education and had earned two Bachelor's Degrees. Mary had been a big part of the community when she moved to the central valley from New York. She has had a few jobs and one was tutoring at Reedley Community College where she took joy in helping students with their studies. Mary had been a big part in the church helping St. Catharine of Sienna Catholic Church with the lectures and enjoyed serving the Lord.

The Lord took her home August 13, 2021 and has been sent home to be buried back in Utica, New York.

Mary is proceeded in death by her sister Loraine James and is survived by her brothers Charles Harvey James, George James, William (Bill) Kenneth James, John James, Joseph Mackool James Jr. and her sister Carol James.

Her family would have loved to have a service with all her friends in Dinuba but regretfully, due to COVID, they could not.

There will be a Mass service on October 20, 2021 at 8:00 AM for Mary Ruth James for her friends to attend to celebrate her life.
