Michael Ruben Cortez

Michael Ruben Cortez of Dinuba passed at the age of 60 on March 2, 2023 at home. He was born in San Angelo, Texas and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan so much that the family was known to have big Sunday BBQs when the Cowboys would play. Michael was a Fabricator. Michael had a heart of gold, absolutely loved being a Papa more than anything. He was known for his delicious BBQ skills and was a horse shoe tournament champ. Michael was a gentle giant and was known as Big Bear and Duke. He always stood up for everyone and always had the best words of advice.

Michael Cortez is survived by; his mother Mary Cortez; daughter Cynthia Silva and son in law Anthony Silva, son Michael R. Cortez Jr. and daughter in law Cami Cortez; 8 grandchildren; 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
