Rachel Marie Contreras

 Rachel Marie Contreras departed on Friday, February 17, 2023.  She was 41 years young.  Rachel was a beaming source of light in this world.  She was a blessing and a joy who touched the lives of so many.

  Rachel was an esthetician, wildly talented make-up artist, and Lash Technician who made her life's work making others not only LOOK beautiful but FEEL beautiful too.  In 2013 Rachel took the plunge into self-employment when she founded Visalia’s first Lash Studio, where she served the community with her talents.

 Rachel was modest about her accomplishments, but her Make Up Artistry landed her regular jobs in LA for Fashion Editorials, Film Shoots, Runway Shows, and - even a photo shoot with one of her teen idols, Lisa Loeb.

 Rachel volunteered for many years in the Animal rescue community and was a proudly self-proclaimed “Cat Lady.”  

  Rachel is preceded in death by her Mother Rose Marie Contreras.  She is survived by her adoring father Manuel Galindo Contreras, elder sister Jessica Christi, brother-in-law James and their children Lili Kai, and James Emmanuel, and her younger sister April Treona, brother-in-law Donnie and their children Treona Rose, and Lucius Levi, her Grandmother Maria, Uncle Arthur (Sonny) and countless uncles, aunts, and cousins whom she adored.
