Stella Rosie Ananian

Stella Rosie Ananian was born on June 12, 1931, in Reedley, Ca, and passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family that loved her deeply on September 7, 2022.

She spent her childhood years in San Diego where she frequently went to the beach. The family moved to Berkeley where her father operated a local grocery store.  Then in her teenage years they moved to Fresno where she attended Jr. High and High School.  It was during those years that she met and created the many friendships she still has today. In 1957, she met the love of her life George Ananian; they were married in 1958 and spent 53 years together until his passing in 2011. Over those 53 years together, George and Stella together raised a family of four, built a farming operation, and in 1979 they formed Ananian Trucking, the company still carries the family name today. The businesses were truly family based as the children also worked beside their parents.

Stella enjoyed traveling and was known as a World Class shopper.  Known for her style and fashion prowess, always a distinctive and classy lady.

Stella is survived by her children Lisa Krause and her husband David, Bryan and his wife Terry, Renee Ananian, and Michelle Ananian, her sister Josie Kaprielian, brothers in law Charlie (Elizabeth) Ananian and Serge (Judith) Ananian.

She is preceded in death by her husband George Ananian, parents Joe B and Katch Kaprielian and her sister Roxie who died as a child.

Visitation will be held at Dopkins Funeral Chapel located at 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618 on Thursday the 15th of September from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
