Victoriano S. Meraz, 67, of Visalia, Ca. passed away at his home on November 25, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born to Nemecio Meraz & Maria Santos Soto on January 10, 1955, in Durango, Mexico. He came to the US in 1969 where he eventually met the love of his life, Maria Rufina. Victor and Maria had 4 children. Victoriano also known as Meraz worked for Britz Fertilizer in Traver, Ca. for 28 years. He enjoyed working outdoors and loved being with his coworkers. He loved telling stories and cutting up with people. Wherever he went he was sure to find someone to talk to. He was a friendly person who helped at his church. He was a member of the Salvation Army for the past four years. He was a man of faith and spoke to his children and grandchildren about God. Victor loved his family more than anything and enioyed camping trips to the coast and trips to Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Rufina, their 3 sons, George and wife, Kelli, Eliseo and wife, Ravenna, David, and Michelle. He had one daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Nathan. 15 grandchildren and one-great-grandchild. Victor is also survived by his siblings, 6 sisters, Maria, Guadalupe, Romelia, Irma, Marisela, and Raquel, 7 brothers, Jose Luis, Nemecio, Angel, Tony, Adam, and Raul. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nemecio Meraz and Maria Santos Soto, his brother, Leonel Meraz and his father and mother-in-law, Jose, and Maria Trevmo.
