Bill Simpson as he was known by many was born to Lonnie and Gladys Simpson in Egypt, Arkansas as William Lonnie Simpson on August, 17, 1944. Bill passed at home with his wife Irene by his side on May 9, 2023 after 78 full and rewarding years of life.

Bill attended the Dinuba School District but was informed in his 12th grade year that he was not going to be able to graduate which he then decided to leave school and work. He worked in multiple fields but was able to be be the owner of Bill's Tire Service serving the Dinuba areas need for tires ranging from agricultural vehicles to industrial vehicles and even vehicles for Dopkins Funeral Chapel. It is now an honor for all of us at Dopkins to serve Bill and his family at this time.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Gladys Simpson, brother Warren Simpson, and sisters Leitta Rowel and Susie Stafford.

Bill is survived by his wife Irene Simpson, his sons; William Lonnie Simpson Jr. (Martha), Charles Wayne Simpson (Kristin), and Brian Keith Simpson, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers; Raymond Simpson, Edgar Simpson, Bob Simpson, Jackie Simpson, Johnny Simpson, sisters; Jeanette Giannini and Irene Parks.

 

A celebration of life will be held on June 24, 2023 at the home of Charlie and Kristi (20532 East Floral Ave, Reedley, CA 93654 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
